South Downs Walk at Harting Down on 8 July
Everyone is invited to join a ‘South Downs Walk’ on Sunday July 8th.
Join the actor Brian Blessed (the outgoing president of the Council for National Parks) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the recommendation that the South Downs should become a National Park.
This is the 32nd in a series of walks organized by the Ramblers’ Association and the South Downs Campaign designed to highlight beautiful areas that should become part of the South Downs National Park.
Meet at 10.30am in the Harting Down (National Trust) Car Park

Just off the B2141, Petersfield to Chichester road
(note: car park charge for non National Trust members)
9 miles via South Downs Way & Hooksway
Bring picnic lunch. Possible lifts from Petersfield Station.
